Mumbai Taxis Becomes New Venue and Talent Exhibition For Its Artist
Founded by Sanket Avlani, Taxi Fabric is a space for designers to showcase their talent, concepts and illustrations in Mumbai. The taxi is recognized as an iconic piece of culture due to its high function in everyday life. Although transportation in Mumbai holds a frustration reputation, Taxi Fabic aims to design an unforgettable ride. To stand out from competitors, the design team will deliver both a functional and artistic execution, which allows many of young artists to exhibit their work to thousands of people.
New York-based artist, Daniel Rozin, creates incredible installations and sculptures that react to the movements of viewers.
His latest project called “PomPom Mirror”, features a synchronized array of 928 spherical faux fur puffs controlled by hundreds of motors that respond to the presence of viewers using computer-vision.

We’re the generation of women who will teach their sons to act respectfully instead of teaching our daughters to beware
This is everything I stand for.
nothing pisses me off more than the fact that 90% of women’s jeans have non-functioning pockets but baby clothes have proper pockets? what are babies carrying around that i’m not? baby wallets? fuck off
when i was a small child i carried around a little tiny pumpkin in my pockets for months
i retract my original statement. that is fair and important
‘To Catch A Dream,’ A Surreal Kenyan Fashion Film From The Nest
To Catch A Dream is a striking new film from Kenyan multidisciplinary art collectiveThe Nest in collaboration with their in-house fashion initiative Chico Leco. The beautiful short stars Kenyan model Ajuma Nasenyama in the lead role of a grieving widow plagued by recurring nightmares. In her quest to rid herself of the nightly terror Ajuma relies on a long forgotten urban legend which causes her to transcend the physical realm to face the ghosts of her past in the afterlife. Featuring stunning designs from eight local fashion houses, scenes from the film were shot in Magadi, Lake Naivasha as well as various locations throughout Nairobi. To Catch A Dream was written and directed by Nairobi-based visual artist Jim Chuchu–whose feature-length debut Stories of Our Lives was one of our Top Film of 2014– with creative direction by stylist Sunny Dolat. Watch the 13-minute short below. Stream and download the film’s original soundtrack, also by Chuchu, on Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
